The FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024, held in Uzbekistan from September 14th to October 6th, was an exhilarating 23-day tournament. The global competition brought together the world's best futsal teams, culminating in a historic final between two arch-rivals, Brazil and Argentina. Brazil triumphed 2-1, securing their record-extending sixth World Cup title and their first in 12 years.

Brazil dominated early in the final, with Ferrao opening the scoring in the 6th minute, assisted by a brilliantly taken free-kick from Marcenio. Rafa added to the lead in the 13th minute, scrambling a cross from Felipe Valerio into the net. Despite Argentina’s spirited efforts in the second half and a late goal from Mati Rosa in the 39th minute, Brazil's defense, led by Marlon and the outstanding Willian, held firm. Willian's numerous saves earned him the Player of the Match award.

Ferrao’s goal was especially notable as he played through a significant injury, a sacrifice that earned him high praise from his teammates. Pito and Dyego hailed Ferrao's determination and courage, calling him a "warrior" who fought through adversity to help his team secure the championship.
