Elena Rybakina defeated Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk to clinch her third title of 2024. Elena secured just her eighth career title
Rybakina went into the match with high expectations after defeating world number 1, Iga Swatiek and with a 1-1 record against Kostyuk. Rybakina saw off Kostyuk 6-2, 6-2.
Rybakina has now featured in five finals this year and have won three of them. She is having an impressive run this year.
After adding the Stuttgart title to her collection, including the Brisbane International and the Abu Dhabi Open all won this year, she will now turn her attention to Madrid open which is to be played in the last week of April
After the match, she congratulated Kostyuk, her coach, the Kazakhstan confederation and everyone.
"I want to thank everyone for the great tournament, everyone who made it possible. It's an amazing tournament and I'm really looking forward to coming back next year."
