Egypt's hard-fought 7-6 victory over debutants Mauritania at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Hall ensured their place in the last four, while Libya delivered a stunning 11-5 win over Namibia at the IBN Yassine Hall.
Libya's Mediterranean Knights showcased a remarkable second-half performance, overcoming Namibia and joining Egypt in the semifinals. The match between Egypt and Mauritania was tense, with the Pharaohs frequently threatening in Mauritanian territory. Despite Mauritania taking an early lead through Yacoub N'diel, Egypt fought back strongly, equalizing through Mohamed Abdelrazek Koki and eventually securing victory.
In the other fixture, Libya displayed their dominance against Namibia, securing a convincing win to advance to the semifinals.
