brazil makes it six wins out of six to win the Conmebol futsal championship for a record eleventh time. After nine days of thrilling encounter, from the 2nd to 10th of February, the 2024 Conmebol futsal championship finally comes to an end with 10 time Conmebol champions, Brazil securing the title. Ten teams participated and were divided into two groups. The top two teams from both groups Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Venezuela qualified for the Futsal world cup, Uzbekistan 2024. Brazil and Argentina faced off for the prestigious crown for their record eleventh title, while, Argentina sought their fourth title.
The last day of the group stage saw Brazil defeat the defending champions , Argentina 4-1 to seal top their spot in Group B, as Argentina settled below Brazil in Group B. Paraguay, who hosted the competition won their last match to secure top spot in Group A. Venezuela thrashed Ecuador 8-0 in Group A to produce what would be the highest goal margin in the tournament so far and secured second spot in Group A. Finally, Uruguay defeated Bolivia to secure third spot in Group B.

The final saw Brazil battle Argentina for the prestigious title. Before the final, Brazil had enjoyed a 100% record and had to face Argentina again- a team they defeated at the group stage. The champions were decided after regular time play as Brazil defeated Argentina 2-0. after scoring 25 goals in the tournament and conceding just 3, Brazil secured the title, Argentina took second place, while Venezuela settled for third.
